Grayish or brownish, with two distinct dark bands on the forewings. Hind wing is yellow basally and bears a black band centrally, which may be either narrow or wide. Inner face of the hind femora has at least two pale bands of either tan or reddish color. Hind tibiae are reddish or orange. Males are 30-41 mm long, females 35-49 mm.
