A brownish-gray species marked by bulbous eyes, slender antennae, and dark markings on the forewings. Median ridge of the prothorax has two deep incisions, resulting in pronounced lobes. Hind wings are yellow or reddish basally with a broad dark band and the apex transparent. Hind tibiae are yellowish brown. Males are 18-24 mm long, females 22-30 mm.
