Ferruginous, clothed with yellow hair. Beak finely punctured, obsoletely striate. Prothorax densely punctured. Elytra with punctured striae, and slightly convex, nearly smooth interspaces; with a broad transverse band occupying the middle third, and dilated at the margin, less densely pubescent, and of a darker color.

Length 3.7 mm.; 0.15 inch.
